- Shipped a qualified-name-lookup API in swift-syntax, letting tools resolve members of a type
- Merged 12 pull requests across swift-syntax and the Swift compiler (C++) with a mentor's review
- Prototyped an extension-binding dependency graph with cycle detection for type resolution

- Accelerated 3D fiber analysis 30× by moving NumPy hot loops into a multithreaded C extension
- Ported undocumented MATLAB code to a Python napari plugin, validated against its output
- Developed test infrastructure from scratch, with a synthetic 3D image generator and 40 pytest tests

- Evaluated PyTorch and TensorFlow upscaling models, tuning hyperparameters and running cluster jobs
